On the day of the project we also follow many safety procedures including:

  • Site specific tailgate meeting (if needed)
  • Working area cordoned off to keep the public safe
  • Fall protection devices
  • Streets closed (as needed)
  • Insulators placed on power lines to prevent accidental electrocution (as needed)
  • Covering roofs with tarps to protect them from hot slag (as needed)
  • Wetting down areas for fire protection
  • Spark Watch
